The blatant double standards and hyprocrisy are pathetic.

Alabama's long history of unpunished NCAA violations under Nick Saban

- Players accepted money from runners
- Players accepted money from coaches on staff
- Coaches committed recruiting violations
- Players took banned substances
- Players associated with agents
- Memorabilia scandal
- Car program

LSU gets targeted by the national sports media because coastal elite news orgs hate the political and religious ideology of the state it is located in. Catholicism + conservatism + Republicanism means the state is public enemy number one.

Since the Will Wade drama and now this I came to the realization that any cash cow of the NCAA no matter what comes out About them it will amazingly get swept under the rug. you’ll hear the initial report and that’s it,

Media is into clicks and views.

A guy illegally handling hundreds of thousands of dollars from a catholic hospital and having ties to families of LSU players is a juicy story and they will take full advantage of it.

If it’s true then they broke the story and will look like geniuses. If it’s all shite then they move on to the next story.

I believe most of the lies and exaggeration is coming from 1 specific media outlet and others follow their lead. Yawho has an agenda against LSU. It's becoming clear. In an article regarding the Funes case they admit the money paid to Rohans family was after his playing days, which in essence clears saban of any wrong doing. Then the imply Funes paid family of Alexander for his services. In the same article they regurgitate the same bile about Will Wade (again and again) and how the NCAA had to wait until after the trial to open an investigation into Wade, another lie. Of all the basketball programs being investigated by the NCAA or were reported to be on the FBI wiretaps, the one they have the least evidence against is LSU. But Yawho is still going after Wade and LSU with every lie and exaggeration they can conjure in their twisted minds while not mentioning anything about the other programs that have been notified by the NCAA of impending sanctions. Yawho just has an agenda against LSU. But yea, they are going to protect the little bastard in alabama as much as they can.

And Alabama doesn’t have that?

Or the fact that the Notre Dame coach killed a kid and very little was said about it?

I am totally convinced that the REC has connections into Yahoo. Yahoo hates Louisiana due to politics. Liberal Dem elitists and their media peons are the scourge of the earth!

Rohan during Sabans tenure.

Chip got suspended from ncaa without knowing anything about Lyle's. So shouldn't saban get same penalty?
"Chip Kelly met the NCAA announcement that it had banned him from college football for 18 months with characteristic straightforwardness. He didn't make excuses. He didn't blame someone else, even as the NCAA made clear that Kelly had been unaware that his staff had employed Willie Lyles in a manner not allowed by the NCAA manual."

And Emmert
