The media is so out to get a story that about half the time they get it wrong. Case in point on Nussmier, his coming to LSU wasn't even supposed to be made public because he was looking for a full time gig and not a part time job.

Did the media create O's resume, lose to MSU, Troy, Bama and Notre Dame, and fail to sign a top 10 class?

Dude...even the biggest critics of O can’t blame him for Nuss choosing the Cowboys over an LSU analyst role.

You are putting the cart before the horse, baw. Its actually our inept LSU Administration that is the problem.

They leak the stories to our shitty local media, then it all goes to shite.

Not what actually happens inside the athletic department...the media's take is what is ginning up dissent?

Ok...at least that's new.

No but they are the cause that everyone's head coach pick Fisher didn't come.

It isn't the media's job to sit on stories to help LSU or a potential member of LSU's staff.

It is the LSU's job to not let information get out before they are ready for it to be made public. As we've seen in the past couple of years, LSU is horrible at that.

Not the fault of the media. LSU need to keep their shite under raps

LSU doesn’t do PR.

Even when Alleva did something right (before/after the UF game cancellation), he still allowed himself to be made the bad guy.

They apparently don’t know when to keep things in-house and when to present a story to the media.

Not so fast my friend. Fisher was not everybody's pick. Herman had/has his boosters.
And of course there is always the perpetually pissed off at everything crowd that love their little meltdowns.

It is the emotional instability of the people who frequent this board that causes meltdowns. I think Louisiana has some kind of bad juju in the water.

It has turned this board into emotional wrecks.

All LSU had to do was come out right after the story leaked and say it wasn't a done deal . What's so hard about that?

Or maybe we could try and run our football program with a little more efficiency and professionalism than a traveling circus I won't blame O for a guy deciding to go to the NFL, but this is just another example of instability (perceived or in reality) surrounding the program.

the media isn't the cause of anything. if one is smart enough to differentiate news from opinion then there is no problem.

You have to admit that LSU has caused most of this. LSU fans have been abused and pushed around like a $20 whore over the past few years. Abused by the decision making and coaching hires.

I find there are a lot of media parrots on this board.
