The post on LSU gym’s twitter said that was her final routine as a tiger, but I guess anything is possible.

This article from this morning's Advocate says she doesn't know what she's going to do.

Will she or won't she? LSU gymnast McKenna Kelley conflicted about returning for 2020

Probably gone. I think if she could perform with her sister, she might stay. But, she has had some tough injuries

As someone that can speak to the subject, our program got cancelled my Junior year because of Title IX. I could have transferred (I had 2 years left). But I didn't. I was tired and wanted a little time off. Wanted to experience college more, parties, girls, etc.

However, if I could go back, I would tell myself to transfer out and compete. AS much as I try to compete now (at 45), it's so tough because you are always comparing yourself to the younger cats and your former self.

If her body is good and healthy, I think she'll regret leaving. Find a way to refresh and find a way to maybe even create a campaign for yourself and enjoy the ride. Maybe they can scale back her practice some and just have her on one event (or maybe 2?).

If there are long term physical problems that could get worse by competing another year, she should hang it up. That's my 2 cents.

My bet is the staff and her teammates would support her cutting back but still staying involved.

I was thinking the same thing. Treat her like the NFL does some of the vetreans and hold her out of practice and skip certain meets. Then ramp it up as post season approaches.
McKenna becomes the Swiss Army knife for the Tigers.

Lets hope she gets to LSU healthy, she hasn't been able to train consistently or compete much the last two years.
