It’s a lack of experience more-so than a lack of talent. However, the 2016 class was not up to our normal standards when we signed them and many of them are already gone. That class should be your juniors and key contributors. That hole will be mostly passed by next year and an afterthought thereafter. We’ll be back next year.

This year is a crazy year. Proof lies in the fact that LSU is very close to being 5 and 1 ranked in the top 15 and still a bad team. Winning those two games at the end would not have changed how good this team is.

Maybe this team is just plain awful.

Even with the roster losses, we have more talent than most teams we face. Good coaches max out the talent available.

The easiest way to see the problem is to look at the same players under Aranda vs Pelini. Did anyone improve except Anthony?
