Max “One Read” Johnson

Watching the past two weeks it’s been proven to me that Max is a one read quarterback who doesn’t go through any kind of progression. We’re limited with him at QB because he throws to his first option every time. When Nuss came in you could see how he has the ability to use his athleticism to disguise how bad our OL is. Many of time’s in 2019 Burrow would do this. Not saying he’s Burrow by any means just making a comparison. That’s why people are excited about this kid. Nuss has the ability to bring this offense to a new level.

Max johnson clearly goes through more than one read.
He did it many times last night.

On one play, Max took the shotgun snap, turned to his left staring down whoever his target was, watching a corner blitz coming right into his face and he threw it anyway. It was knocked down by the blitzer. Can he not see this? It was a failed play from snap and he still went ahead and threw it. No words.

Jesus Christ enough with this shite. I bet you were one of the ones sucking Max’s dick after he beat Florida and Ole Miss last year but now he’s “one read Johnson” as you say. Our OL is shite and so is our running game. No QB can succeed with those problems. Post less.

People forget that Max is a soph with no running game, a brand new coordinator and a head coach who is clueless.
Burrow was close to starting for Meyer. So if the comparison is dumb, Joe was the one with the greater advantage.
