Raiders suck. I would rather be second string on that crappy team. They will be lucky to win any games this year. Flynn will almost surely get a chance this year, just because their team sucks.

Pryor is only starting due to Flynns injury (wink wink) the Raiders are giving Pryor a chance to mess up, it will happen. Flynn will start by week three, he better take advantage of his chance.

Flynn is just a bad NFL QB. He's not a starter in the league

Best thing that ever happened to him.

The Raiders are a dumpster fire, and I would fear for the future of his career if teams saw him running for his life and throwing 20+ INTs as the Raiders go 0-16, not to mention his safety and health

Better to sit this one out as the hIghest paid clipboard holder of all time for the second year in a row than the starting QB of the worst team of all time.

His time will come somewhere, but this is clearly not the situation for him.

Funny how Russell and Flynn both ended their careers at Oakland bosom buddies til the end

I don't think Flynn's career is over, although it might have been had he gone down in flames as their starter.

But his days of big contracts are certainly over until he does something on the field again. He'll still be able to find work as a backup though. Could have a very long career actually without ever having to do anything.

Where do I sign up??

Saw this coming a mile away, knew the Raiders were going to go with Pryor because their O Line is shite and Flynn will get killed. Pryor will too, but he will get killed outside the pocket.

That would be retarded for the following reasons: Flynn sucks, Brees isn't retiring for another 4-5 years, Flynn sucks, Luke McCown is a capable backup, Flynn sucks, Ryan Griffin has shown a lot of promise and is on the practice squad, and Flynn sucks.

Getting paid big $$ to sit on the bench. Not the worst situation. Beats playing behind that o line.

He will get his chance after Pryor gets hurt from being destroyed from no protection from that terrible O-line.

No room to talk. You are one of the worst posters on this board. Nothing but vindictiveness, sour grapes, trolling, and some of the most uninformed opinions I've ever heard. Obama voter no doubt.

Ok, Captain Obvious.

Fact is he isn't horrible. Hell, the Jets or Bills would probably welcome him with open arms. However, like most QBs, when he doesn't have a decent OLine, he will struggle. Pryor may be the right choice at this time, but I still feel like Flynn is the better QB.

He'll get a chance to start at some point this year. I cant imagine Pryor stepping in and locking down the job for good. I predict musical chairs at QB for the Raiders.

Meh, he was a 7th rounder that played well as a back up. He's a top tier back up, but that's all he should have ever been.

He'll still have a long career as long as he doesn't get killed this year when he inevitably has to play for the Raiders.
