Yeah, that already happened. Did we already forget the guy who accepted a pro offer in the middle of scheduling classes?

Good luck to them. Not surprising.

Also think mathis gets too much crap on this board. He filled the catcher position when we basically had no other option

That's not what he is talking about.

We can cut Mathis and Ripoll because we are overstocked at the position.
. Not possible to be over stocked at pitcher with the way this staff injures pitchers.

Are you suggesting that we just have one player at each Fielding position and the rest pitchers? Because we aren't totally far off from that.

I am saying LSU over works pitchers. Not during the season but in summer ball and the fall. Explain to me
How these guys keep getting hurt? This is a fairly new trend. Not a single pitcher on that team should go play summer ball. They should rest their arms

Please elaborate on all the guys we've sent to summer ball the last couple years and how that has caused them injury.

Very few pitchers threw last summer. The ones that threw, with the exception of Beck, didn't throw very much at all.

If I could explain this, I would gladly share the info with every baseball team in the world and become very rich. Since you seem to know, maybe you should do just that.

Tell me how many pitchers at LSU are playing summer ball this summer.

Please name the pitchers that were overused in summer ball.

He won't be back. You'll have to catch him in the next baseball thread making stuff up to complain about.

Matthew Beck kind of was, but he also didn't throw in the fall.

Beck didn't throw an abnormal amount of innings, but he had high pitch counts and a lot of his innings were high pitch count innings.

ETA: But that's not LSU over using him, and I doubt they were thrilled with how he was handled.

Speaking of Beck last summer. Does this mean that Ripoll will not longer be playing with the Cane Cutters, or does he still play? Not sure how that works.
