F) none of the above

Last year’s offense was one for the books; not just for LSU but for all of college football. It won’t be close to being matched, never.

But that doesn’t takeaway from what these guys can do this year. They can forge their own path to a special season, and it won’t be diminished by producing less numbers than last year.

Skill? A-Similar to last season.

Stats may not reflect it because the schedule is different.

People shouldn't be concerned about the offense as much when you look at how much our defense can improve. We don't need a juggernaut on offense to win titles.

I agree. Orgeron was raving about Rosenthal this morning.
Ingram has starts.
Shanahan, was mentioned yesterday as having NFL potential at Center.
Hines has started.
Deculus, Nuf said.
Receivers, nothing but stars.
Running backs, more stars,
Quarterback, second best since JR, arm talent wise.
Offense is set.

What's crazy to think about is that this group is faster than last year's group outside of the QB.

40 times:
Boutte - 4.37s (High School)
McMath - 4.40s
Marshall - 4.40s
Gilbert - 4.73s (that'll lower)
TDP - 4.53s
Emery - 4.42s
Curry - 4.68s (clocked on a bad ankle going 90%)

Many said the same things about Joe and Clyde before last year. ??

Other than having another year of development behind them, is there any reason to believe this group of returning RBs will be special?

Apparently you don't listen to the coach's comments on the running backs. He talks about them after every scrimmage in glowing terms. He said we are going to have a much stronger ground game, three great running backs.
It appears he is happy with all three.
I have no reason to doubt him. Do you?

Palmer = Waddle. Maybe. It could happen. Let's just wait and see.

Honestly I think Boutte is going to be our Waddle. Just my opinion. We honestly might be better at the skill position this year. I think the o line is key.

Before the 2019 season started there was no indication that the team would go 15-0 + NC. It was always a possibility and we were all hopeful, but who amongst you knew we had what we had?? If anything, the current team (with hind-sight) is better positioned to win an NC than we thought the '19 team was.

Waddle caught 33 passes last season. I believe Boutte or Palmer will have more than that, but maybe not in a ten game season.

If Boutte ran 9.8 he’d be one of the fastest men in world history

You have your numbers wrong. I think he’s a 200 guy anyway
