Great with young QB's. Did big things with Dak Prescott first year in Dallas.

I love that O’s USC ties is helping our publicity.
Reggie Bush and Matt Leinart y’all us up on fox all the time

He and Buga talking up Tigers on ABC.

Also mentioned that Linehan was instrumental in the start of Matthew Stafford's career in Detroit.

Thought he was a Texas fan now...

Impossible. There are posters who swore he sucks bc they watched the cowboys last year

Well if Sanchez says so it must be gospel lol
Posted on 9/12/20 at 4:44 pm to tiger81
Sanchez was Dak’s backup during that time I believe

Yes he was, so he's speaking from experience.

I really didn’t like his 3rd down and long “check down” reasoning though

I’m more inclined to believe a guy who played the nfl and remains connected to the league in some way over the typical rant poster but that’s just my opinion

How can you interject logic and reasoning into this discussion?

We are going to miss Brady in the booth
I think linehan will be fine
The way Brady studied stuff and came up with new concepts was great
He had an answer for every coverage
I know linehan knows football but being younger with a different point of view is what you need sometimes

As long as it continues to be an "attacking offense", with the accompanying skills development, I don't care what the name is, the pedigree is, or the history is.
I'll give you an example of what I mean. In your standard [modernized] offense your QB works through progressions looking for space. That space is created by either having better and more skilled atheletes than the other guy or they make a mistake.
- The defense can make adjustments and take that away for a period of time until you adjust to them.
In the offense we ran last year, and will continue to run hopefully, the QB in partnership with WRs CREATE that space by play/route/formation design. Yes, skilled atheletes make it work and it wouldn't work without them. But you aren't dependent on the other side not having skills or making mistakes.
- The difference is because you are creating that space, the defense can't simply move numbers/personnel around as an adjustment. As far as they are concerned they were ready for it, but it worked any way.
If the two were a chess match...
The first above is 3D chess.
The attacking offense is when your opponent makes a move you slap the shite out of him putting him on the ground and while he's clearing the cobwebs you make the moves you want. When he gets back in his chair and screams "hey, you can't do that" you say "can too, make me stop" and slap the shite out of him again.

We didn’t do anything “new” last year. Those were all concepts that have been apart of football for at least a decade. Those concepts were just communicated and executed at an exceptional level.
Our playbook wasn’t anything that no one has ever seen. That’s not to say that Brady wasn’t amazing. He did a great job in teaching that playbook and teaching those receivers but he didn’t reinvent the wheel.
