I have always admired Marcus Allen. He and Herschel are two of my all time favorites.

Fair question , not claiming he would be a great coach BUT his presence around LSU football brings a ton of star power to recruiting.
We have great players in the league today but Allen is an all timer.
Yes I know he is a trojan but it's not like we compete on that many recruits with USC

on 12/15/19 at 3:35 pm to BleedPnGHe doesn't have to coach or analyze anything. If he just wants to hang out on the sideline, cool. But I imagine if he's around these players long enough, he's going to be giving tips and pointers and things that will be valuable to them.
