Marcel Brooks Breakdown

To anyone who doesn’t look at the recruiting board often, me and Marcel are best friends and go to school together. He’s very excited to get to LSU during the summer. Ed O was the biggest factor in his recruitment. He said no other program was close to what LSU is, including Alabama and Oklahoma. Nick Saban trash talked O on his visit to Alabama (no surprise). He’s going to be playing Safety as #9. He’ll be the next Grant Delpit after Delpit leaves and will be exactly like Delpit/Derwin James. He’s a freak athlete. I’ve witnessed him jump over cars, and do sick things. Today at lifetime (the gym) he was throwing down some 360 dunks. I’m going to LSU next year too, I won’t say I got him to LSU, I was always in his ear about LSU though (growing up a huge LSU fan). He’s a great guy, and a stud football player. Geaux Tigers baws!

Marcel is an exceptional athlete. Watching him on offense was a surprise. You almost wonder why he isn't on that side of the ball.

They got the best of us the last 2 years. What year did you graduate?

Yeah they had a really solid team this past season. You talking about the triple OT 30-27 game? I was in like 7th grade, and even though Marcus lost that game was so legit. I’ll remember that one for a long time.

The twitter beef used to be nuts. Too bad it dropped the last few years. Did you know Chandler Claterbaugh? Lol I’m good friends with his little brother.

Basically Saban tried to pull the old “You never know how long Orgeron is going to be there. They are only going to be winning 9-10 games a year” move. He proceeded to talk about how Alabama and LSU aren’t even close at this point, that Alabama is hands down the best program in the country and kills LSU every year. He talked about how much more dominant they look against LSU. He said if you come to Alabama you will win a couple of rings, and that LSU wouldn’t be pulling that off. He even brought up “Texas A&M is on the rise, LSU could be moving on down to 3rd place in the west” He mentioned that Orgeron isn’t a very good X’s and O’s Coach. Marcel loves O and the family atmosphere at LSU. At Alabama they talked a lot of shite about LSU as well as A&M some, and OU, but nothing Alabama would actually be offering him. Saban mentioned O being a big personality and motivator but said that he wouldn’t get Marcel to his full potential like they would get him at Alabama. Lol, it was some pretty outrageous remarks I thought. Why spend time trashing a program instead of talking about your own IMO? Some other stuff here and there, but you get the main picture of it all.

All of the negative shits on this board need to read this. Recruits hear it from Saban then get confirmation from message boards like the tiger rant. Supremely stupid posters trash the coaches and the program constantly. In the old days they'd be banned with the quickness. Now for some reason it's almost encouraged, money I suppose
