That's one hell of a video. You know why?

You made Dupre look like he is a top 5 pick that must have been a Heisman candidate. You would never know from that video how poor his production was for being such a highly touted player. He is a great red zone threat and should be able to make a career out of it.

Dupre's going to be an interesting draft selection. The NFL workout/practice schedule should be very beneficial to his development. He'll probably get drafted low than he thinks he should so he ought to be motivated to reach his full potential to earn a big 2nd contract.

Yep. His measurables are fantastic, but he needs some polishing in terms of catching with his hands and concentration.

I hope he becomes a great WR, but I'm going to be honest: I can't believe that link was 6 minutes long.

in the context of our passing game struggles in recent years, was his production really "poor"?

and yeah I know the WRs (Chi included) had some drops, but we generally had some QBs with accuracy issues (to put it nicely) for the bulk of his career.

Valid points, just funny how many on here use this argument for some past LSU WR's but not others.

Are they? He's like 6'2 1/2". And Id be shocked if he runs under 4.5. His vertical will be great, but that may be it.

My biggest criticism of him is that he tends to body catch a lot. It's funny because you hardly see that in the highlight video.

Shouldn't take long. Certainly not as long as I envisioned 3 years ago.

Landry went in the second round, caught everything thrown to him. Know what happens when you make big plays? You extend the drive giving you another chance to make another play.

Chi just isn't that good. I said same about Ruben Randle, they complained about poor QB play was his issue. Then you see a guy like Odell Beckham break records and become a super star.

Sometimes it's on the individual.

Just curious, who were the other 4 wr's that made up the national top 5 in Malachi's recruiting class.
