Because as of now we have 3 leftys that pitched alright this weekend.
I think they might give Drost a shot in left. For now at least, the bats need more work than the pitching.

Seems like this is the trend every year until we get to the point that solid pitching depth is needed and realize the team lacks that as well.

Hellmers looked like a pitcher playing 3B and hitting. He didn't look like a 2-way player. Big difference.

That may have been the dumbest statement in rant history. CPM has many faults but changing up the lineup when things aren’t working is not one of them.

What happen to Safford at 3B ?
This wont be popular, but i thought his glove looked decent to good, it was his throws that were the problem. I could see him as a future 2nd basemen or 3rd basemen...at least as a reserve

He missed a couple with his glove too. Tough plays but plays you expect a college third baseman to make. His bad throws were on the easy ones which tells me it was more mental. He made the throws on the run and didn’t have time to think about the throw pretty good.
