This must be where your reading comprehension is only 90%. Go back and read the other 10%. Hint: it's the last 2 sentences.

In fact... I will cut and paste it for you...

Personalized recruiting aids include any decorative items and special additions to any location the prospective student-athlete will visit (e.g., hotel room, locker room, coach’s office, conference room, arena) regardless of whether the items include the prospective student-athlete’s name or picture

So, you think they added the air jordan exhibit just for him and it wasn't already there?

That's what Lyles said. Are you saying Oregon had a air jordan exhibit on campus before the visit and after? why? to advertise Nike?

Lyles said they had an air jordan exhibit - not that they contructed it for his visit. Yes, I think Oregon probably has a lot of stuff to advertise Nike, especially in their advertising building.

I made the statement with the fact that the exhibit was there beforehand.

Lyles does not have anything big on LSU or he would have talked.

Apparently nothing came of LSU in the discussion or there would be a big Deflection BOOM by quack fans in this thread.

Let me put it to you this way - the sports marketing program is a huge lure for kids. You think the marketing building doesn't have an air jordan exhibit? Why not?

These kids are allowed to take a tour of the campus, right?

As I see it, the bylaw states that special jerseys can't be produced and no one can arrange special exhibits.

Everyone was here thinking that he was given a pair of 20k shoes. Now it's not so much the case. My point: there is a lot of jumping to conclusions.

Why is it always the fans of the schools who get busted for cheating who are convinced that the media is out to get their schools?

It is just not what it seems, is it. Know one should trust a Duck.

A circus owner walked into a shop to see everyone crowded around a table watching a little show. On the table was an upside down pot and a duck tap dancing on it. The circus owner was so impressed that he offered to buy the duck from its owner.

After some wheelin' and dealin' they settled for $10,000 for the duck and the pot.

Three days later the circus owner runs back to the shop in anger, "Your duck is a rip-off! I put him on the pot before a whole audience and he didn't dance a single step!"

"Hmmm...." thought the duck's former owner. "Did you remember to light the candle under the pot?"

Anytime you see a program go from relative obscurity to national prominence instantly there is some bullshite going on under the table. USC, Auburn, Smu,Oregon. Make no mistake players were paid, houses bought, parrents new jobs. Watch the movie bluechips, that was basketball. It happens the hundred dollar handshake is alive and well.
