That's promising, and a welcome bit of actual sports news.
Call me jaded, but I expect this cloud hovering over the program to affect our seeding. I don't think we get a 2.

I totally agree. We deserve a 2. But I'm expecting a 4 just for spite.

I completely agree, but if we lose in the championship game it’d be hard to argue anything lower than a 2. Win it all we still might be a 2, but should be a 1. Only way narrative can really screw us is with getting bounced in our first game, in which case with all the media buzz, I think that we’d fall to anywhere from a 3 all the way down to possibly a 5, but that’d be a stretch and I think absolutely worse case scenario. My guess is a 4 seed in that scenario.

I’ll certainly be rooting for us to win this week, but in a way it might not be all that bad if we lose early in SECT... could take the media target off our back a little. LSU won’t be as sexy a story this coming weekend if we’ve already been eliminated from SEC tournament.
Again, absolutely not wanting us to lose, just saying silver lining if we do lose is it might help quiet some things down and get us out of the spotlight for a couple days.
If Yahoo does have more, I have no doubt they’d love to release it the day we’re playing for the SEC tourney championship to get maximum exposure.

Joe Lunardi is a poor mans Mel Kiper, he makes future lists way too early and gets super discouraged because he has been wrong all year. He is tired and angry and resents ESPN for this bullshite job. He gets payed shite and has a closet in Bristol with a dry erase board to device his list. Theres no market for a good braketologist these days anywho
