LSU plays Tenn, Bama, Ark, Kentucky, and A&M twice.

Auburn plays Florida, Georgia, SC, Miss, and Bama twice.

Look… Auburn is a top 5 team in the nation and are pretty scary to be honest. We have a slim shot in hell to compete with them for the #1 SEC spot with this disparity. Theres nothing that can be done about it and I’m not bitching at the SEC or anything cause it is what it is, but lets get that #2 seed for SEC tourney and whoop their arse in the rematch and get a 2-3 seed in NCAA tourney. I cant wait. Lets eat this bread boys!!!

Edit: Keep in mind Auburn owns the tiebreaker. And yes I like this LSU team more than the teams of the 2 seasons prior to this one.

Im not saying we cant whoop their arse in a rematch, but with the disparity of the scheduling, it would take something crazy to happen to finish above them. And they would own the tiebreaker if we tied.

Auburn beat Bama on the road tonight. Their remaining ranked opponents are Kentucky, Alabama, @Tenn.

LSU’s remaining ranked opponents are @Bama, @Tenn, @Kentucky, Bama

Are the schedules really that different?

Right. Considering we already beat UK and UT, we’re almost back to “even” with AU

I think the disparity of my point is that the teams we play twice are all quadrant one or at least very close ( I think A&M is close). It’s not an astronomical difference by any means, but we are at rough odds to have the top record in the conference.

At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter because our SOS will be stronger and we will still benefit with a high NCAA tourney seed if we continue playing at our level. I just wanted to state the facts and show what we will face vs Auburn. Its all good though. It’ll be good for us.

Just like there was no way Texas Tech goes into Waco and beats Baylor, right?

Not saying they’ll do it, but as far as SEC teams go Kentucky has the best chance to beat Auburn because they match up the best with them. UK has great guards and Tshiebwe has the size to take on Kessler. Of course someone needs to shut down Jabari also.

They manhandled Alabama on the road. Tide hit some threes late to tie it up after being down 10, but Barn didn’t blink

Sucks to say but they look Final 4 ready right now. No chance Alabama beats them on the road in auburn next time

Good luck with that one that kid is ridiculous. Every time I watch him, I think of a young Kevin Durant

Auburn has an excellent team. They are the real deal.
And LSU is right behind them.
