It's very easy to see why players love playing for Orgeron.

I think this is the best group of defensive backs I've ever coached,'' Orgeron said.

For a guy with O's resume to say this is a tale of things to come.

I really appreciate the honesty from him. 10 wins is good, but not great. He gets it.

Looks to be a pretty solid front 7 to support them as well

Doubters silenced,

was O hired to finish 2nd and 3rd in the sec or was he hired to win titles?

the only doubters that's been silenced are the ones that thought he would turn lsu into a dumpster fire.
after year 1(2017) it looked like he was on his way to proving them right.

He wasn’t hired to win titles

He was hired for continuity of 21st century success

He has been wholly successful

then what was the purpose of firing the last coach?
if losing 3 and 4 games a year is acceptable then Miles would still be employed

He was hired for continuity of 21st century success

2010- 3 losses
2011- 1 loss
2012- 3 losses
2013 - 3 losses
2014 - 5 losses
2015- 3 losses
2016- 4 losses
2017- 4 losses
2018 - 3 losses

quote:

He has been wholly successful

-Zero titles
-not competitive against bama
-2-5 against p5 teams that were good enough to not finish the season with 5 or more losses.
- averaging the 5th best recruiting class in the sec

if those FACTS are considered wholefully successful then miles was wholefully successful when he was fired.

its telling when the coach is never expected to or hired to win titles at a program like LSU.

I'm with you on that statement. I am super excited this guy is OUR QB, and it just seems the more little bits of info we get about him just makes me like the guy that much more. I'm ready to sit back this season and see what Joe and the rest of this team are going to be able to do, how far will they be able to take this team? I hope all the guys stay injury free and get to show us just how good they really are....

Thanks for the link OP, was two good articles with some great info I didn't know about. Sad thing is the Down votes, I'm not sure why someone would down vote a mainly positive write up of our players and team.
Could one of you down voters explain your position other than you just don't like the QB or Coach. I'm really trying to understand what you may be thinking, or what I may be missing? Thanks.

Well at least we're admitting it now.

He was hired because Alleva's ego was bruised by Herman.
