LSU's most/least ardent fans outside of EBR, Livingston and Ascension parishes?

I would say Acadiana area, west of Lafayette to Lake Charles. Alexandria and central Louisiana seem to be passionate as well.

Least ardent would be NE Louisiana and parts of New Orleans.

Honestly, most of the African Americans in Baton Rouge reallyyyy don't like LSU. Speaking from a lot of experience.

I've noticed that as well, especially the older ones.

Worst: Houston and Dallas area fans

I love it when they pretend to still be louisiana boys and real fans when it's convenient but "I'm a Texan yaw yaw" look down on louisiana any time LSU isn't winning

That may have been true 10 years ago. It's been relaxed a bit since then.

Absolutely. Are the Feliciana's LSU strong?

Shreveport has the misfortune of being on the Texas/Arkansas line, so a lot of aTm, Arkansas, UT, and a few Oklahoma fans here.

Also, quite a bit of fricking Bama douches.

But the LSU fans here are very adamant, knowledgeable, and loyal. And there are a fricking lot of us.

Lincoln Parish is probably the least ardent Parish.

Down Da Bayou- south of the Intercoastal Bridge in Lafourche Parish is all LSU. I stopped at a gas station in Gallicano last week. The lady had two framed pictures on the wall- the Pope, and Ed Orgeron. They are very proud of their hometown guy.

This has nothing to do with his question, plus, it's completely false.

From my years in the streets, I know plenty of blacks in the BR area that love and show support for LSU sports. Most of them I know, show support for Southern first, then LSU. However, many are just LSU fans. Even the ones who support Southern understand the competition difference and are huge LSU fans as far as "power 5" football teams are concerned.

Don't know who you know/met, but to throw out that blanket statement is not only ignorant, but it's inaccurate as well.

That's the kind of nugget that could wind up on a College Gameday segment.
