LSU’s future at RB

YouTube LSU Future Runningbacks 2020, I watched it today for the first time, it concentrates solely on JE & TDP, they look wonderful. You can see why JE was ranked so high, his cuts and acceleration is GOD given, you can’t teach it. Once he masters the playbook and learns his pass blocking, this guy will go down as one of the best at LSU. TDP is a down hill runner with good quick jerks and is hard to bring down by one defender. I know Curry is there but it was just true freshman. When you watch just his (JE) highlights and nothing more, I believe he will take over sooner than later JMO , when it’s put there in front of you, this kid can ball, Duh, but I didn’t really notice it as much during the season , but I believe he’ll be the man.

TDP impressed me a lot as a freshman. He came in physically ready for SEC football. He is absolutely rugged out there. Doesn't dance, sees the hole, hits it hard, gets downhill in a hurry, and always falls forward. He is going to punish people next season.
Also, his run against florida was huge.

Three very talented running backs, each with their own style and versatility. Curry bounces off tacklers like CEH, has a nose for the first down marker, and had solid hands. TDP is a physical, down hill runner with quick, violent cuts, and speed to get to the end zone. John Emery has the hands, the speed, the quickness, the elusiveness to break one open at anytime.

Curry has a lot of heart but he just doesn’t have the talent that Price has, price will be a stud and future first round pick.
I’m not sold on Emory, he’s shown nothing.

I highly doubt that but I would have doubted CEH being a first rounder too

John Emery Jr. has breakaway speed that's uncoachable, to me he has the most potential of the 3.

I didn't even remember JEs run 10 seconds in He & TDP will be bona-fide studs next season

TDP’s run vs Florida was huge but you really gotta give credit to Joe for catching Florida’s d-line completely out of position. That’s right...even great runs were bc of Joe’s big ol’ d.

He will learn how to pass protect, its very learnable. I think Emory will be the RB next year and prove himself.

If TDP and Emery improve as much as Curry in year two, we won't miss Helaire.
I just watched a video made this time last year, one of the talking heads was lamenting our lack of a proven running back. He predicted one of the Freshmen, TDP or Emery would be our savior in the running game.
Then Helaire showed us he was ready.

We will miss CEH. He was unique and integral to the NC run. I agree the current backs are talented and ready to keep the Tigers running to glory.
