Dude?? Clemson has some big, tall, fast and strong guys on their team. If Lawrence had connected on about 5 throws he missed on, it would have been a 3-point game into the late 4th quarter.
Don't sell Clemson, or for that matter LSU, short.

You didn’t state this properly. We didn’t win the natty on 11/9, but it was on that day that we knew if we played our game, we wouldn’t be beat.

I hope some day Joe will open up on if he wanted to play OSU or not. Would have been emotional I’m sure.
I think if I was writing the story, I’d have us stay at 2 and knock off the defending champs Round 1, then have the OSU/Burrow showdown in The Dome for the title.
Just not sure if Joe would have preferred that or not.

Nah, we won it last night. Clemmy needed to get their asses best straight up on the biggest stage to shut down their BS.
While I think Alabama with a healthy Tua was a better team than Clemmy, we needed to end their BS straight up and leave no room for any counterpoint to be made.
That's why winning by 17 instead of 3 was so important last night.

but......he didn't. it's not like he was throwing vs air, there were dudes out there making him miss some of those throws.
