Not even mentioning that they'll eventually be a more talented team than they are now once Jimbo gets a few recruiting cycles under his belt.

Just like we consider ourselves rivals of bama they consider us rivals. Little brother syndrome. Read the sec rant from time to time. The hate is real over there.

Yeah, I had little idea what A+M was in the 70's as a kid but I knew that it took a bunch of them to screw in a light bulb!

I imagine that they told their kids the same jokes about Cajuns.

This is a long standing rivalry for LSU. The two schools battle for recruits in south Louisiana and Southeastern Texas. It is most certainly more of a natural rivalry than the forced rivalry that is Arkansas v LSU.

A&M is our rival as much as we are Bamas.

False. There is no comparison. The LSU-Bama matchup is consistently a game of national interest. Division titles, conference championships, national championships, and the nations top recruits are always on the line between LSU and Bama. The A&M game has not been consistently one of the highest rated in the nation year in and year out over the last decade. College game day hasn't been there once nor has CBS chose it for prime time (that I can recall). A&M is never playing for anything against us but the role of spoiler. I know those aren't necessarily the things that define a rivalry, but to say we are to A&M what Bama is to us is asinine. It sounds to me that both the Ags and the Gumps are delusional when it comes to LSU football.

Should be first game of every season, either at Kyle Field or Tiger Stadium. No neutral site games.

Bunch of kids in here that dont remember A&M spanking LSU's arse for a decade.

yes this was a rivalry when LSU kept losing to big ole A&M. and we wanted to be them. but since our rise and 15 years of not playing it died.

Now we are big ole LSU spanking A&M's arse and they want to be us. So yes this is a rivalry and will grow in to LSU's best Rivalry since LSU/Tulane or LSU/Ole Miss.

We need to be playing Arkansas on the last playing date. Rivalries take decades to form and we had just gone through two decades with them as our week 12 opponents.

And you should want this if you really care about the preservation of rivalries in college football.

Let LSU & Arkansas resume the day after Thanksgiving

Texas & Texas A&M resume on thanksgiving night.

Missouri & Kansas resume on the Saturday.

Done.
