On SEC Network right now. Man I love these SEC rewind games. Gets me pumped up for the season. Gonna be a long two months before the season starts. Geaux Tigers! Labrandon Toelfield very underrated. Cousin coached him at Independence and knew he was going to be good.

i predict Rohan goes out due to injury. That Tennessee defense likes to take cheap shots.

If mauck comes in, Tennessee might have trouble defending him on the QB draw

I was there, sitting next to some UT fans and they were saying Saban had lost his mind when he went for it on 4th down.

When we were walking to the stadium and some UT fans introduced themselves and said "you boys need some directions since it's your first time here?" I thought it was hilarious. They weren't there on the way back.

A different group of UT fans on the way out said, "good game, I didn't fumble once" and I damn near pissed myself.

What an experience and I hope to go back one day.

I was at that game. When we won it, I believe that is the most ecstatic I have ever seen LSU fans be in person and that includes both our 2003 and 2007 NC games.

Rohan Davey was a winner and a warrior!
Just a good man.
One of my top five players in LSU football history.

LOL. The thing I remember the most about thag game other than the play on the field is the orange roses that all of their fans had bc if they won the sec championship game they were going to the national title game in the rose bowl. Haha, that and the junior and lulu couple that people made fun of for a decade.

Good thing they didn't go. I don't think any college team would have beaten that 2001 Miami team, not then and not now.

After the game we thoroughly enjoyed asking the UT fans at the Marta station if this was the train to Orlando

Labrandon was an incredible athlete. Glad I got to witness in person from Jr. High to NFL.

Your cousin knew he would be good after he scored 56 touchdowns his junior year!!

Yep, all their fans had roses before the game, but after the game, LSU fans were raining sugar cubes and packets out of the stands. I think the whole first half was a non-stop barrage of Rocky Top from the Tennessee band, but the 2nd half was the LSU Fight Song over and over again from our band. That was the beginning of the downhill slide for Tennessee and Fulmer, and the beginning of an empire in LSU. That was an awesome game to witness. I was so hoarse I couldn't talk for a week. Was lucky to be able to go to that game. It was postponed a week due to 9/11, would have had drill the week prior when it was supposed to be.
