FWIW, the UF Faculty Senate just voted to make the LSU game the UF 2017 homecoming, changing the homecoming date from 10/14 to 10/7. Athletic department wanted a November date.

Not sure why the Senate votes on this, but as a Senator, I voted. As I understand, our vote is final (but knowing faculty politics, who really knows). Let's dampen UF's homecoming. Geaux Tigers.

Does college homecoming mean anything at all at a large university?

Other than some Greek stuff, homecoming was a joke when I was at LSU.

I was at the UF game this year. Great seats, and we started off hot.

Besides that, one of the most disappointing and embarrassing performances I've ever witnessed

shite sucked arse live.

Embarrassing loss.

We should of waxed their arse by how often we were in the Red Zone.

The team acted like they had just won a Natty when it was over.

Same. But on the bright side, it wasn't because they were the better team. We shite the bed on ourselves that game.

That's great. I don't know about UF's track record but LSU's on HC day is not great. We always seemed to way underplay an overwhelmingly overmatched OOC opponent. We usually end up winning them but playing less than expected. Lot of talk has been around all the distractions that come with HC week. Lets hope that UF has some...

Wait a minute, I may have been a UF professor for 36 years, but I still bleed purple and gold.

It really was. One of the most embarrassing losses ever when you consider the sheer volume of shite we talked leading up to that game. They really

How the hell is that the bright side?

If LSU was the better team at home and lost, it means they were outcoached like crazy..... and then we hire that coach.

Yeah, I'm not sure why several have missed the point—that you're a plant in enemy territory. Keep up the good work!
