This is an unreal stat. LSU could have 4 Olympic golds (2 from Harrison, 1 from Laird and Williams) coming from this team. Maybe even more if the latter two are picked for any relays.

Unless the SEC goes back to the rules of Commissioner Kramer, no stopping Arkansas track.

It’s a true possibility. Wow.

Great vid in the OP, too.

That's current LSU runners.

Some former Tigers are also at the top of their events.

Sha'Carri Richardson currently has the #1 100M and #2 200M times in the world this year. Her 100M time of 10.72 is 6th All Time.

Mondo is by far LSUs best bet for a former Tiger to win gold. I think the last time a former Tiger was this favored to win was Lolo in 2008 before she clipped the hurdle in the final and fell short.

It's wild for sprinters/hurdlers. You typically only have one shot in one race to win an Olympic Gold.

LSU had great men's track teams around 1990. I think the coach went Texas a&m and the team declined after that.

The men’s track program has been elite for over 30 years, dumbass

If LSU had ever put any effort towards their distance program I imagine they'd have a few more titles. It is rare they ever score any points in any distance event and they did very little to recruit guys to make the program better.

Man Justin Gatling is still running

If not for Bolt he would have another gold

Our HC is a great front runner, but when it comes to nut-cutting-time, he’ll focus on picking up trash on the ground!!

I have little confidence in Shaver’s leadership and having the savoir-faire to win championships!!!

I don’t follow track. What are our chances at a natty? I’d guess we’d be the favorite based off this post.

Very good chance for both the men and women this year. Ark is strong as usual..I know USC is strong this year too but LSU will def be one of the favorites for both the men and women

Hurdles squad is on a different level. Everyone needs to jump on the Laird bandwagon now, he will medal in the Olympics.
