I’m sure y’all have discussed but I was looking over the LSU schedule this year & noticed Ole Miss and Arkansas is on the front end of SEC slate and Auburn moves to the back end. Did they give a particular reason for this move?

Also Auburn last 2 games is back to back LSU and Alabama? Damn good luck with that

Auburn complained about having to play UGA and Bama back to back so the SEC granted their wish.

How dare those two tigers beat RTRWFU last year. SEC will show em.

I think there main gripe was that both games were on the road every other year.
Not sure how it helps LSU as now we have to play Auburn and A&M on the road every other year.

Auburn - Thank for granting our request to move the UGA game so we don’t have to play them and Bama back to back. Who did you replace them with? One of the Mississippi schools? Arkansas maybe?

SEC Office - Yeaaaaaaaa any of those probably would have made more sense. We chose LSU. Figured you wouldn’t mind.

It's pretty crappy deal for us imo... I liked having aubie in beginning of the year really sets the tone for the year them normally being 1st or second sec game of the season. Now we may be limping into post season and aTm game with some lingering injuries. But what ever its the schedule. Just win

November is going to be a bitch every year for the foreseeable future

True. But you can also find a silver lining and spin it to a positive.

Now LSU gets a month to gain experience and knock the rust off before UF in October. Then rest some before the November stretch when your OL will have had time to jell and all your inexperienced players gain experience before your toughest games.

The SEC also made an attempt to bolster the SEC schedule by having bigger games at the back end of the season. That is what the Big Ten does and it helps for sure. No one remembers what you did in September, its November that matters.
