Brooks Kubena:
Seems like an insane stat. I know our secondary hasn't had the best of hands, but damn.
Turnovers from your defense is a struggling offense's best friend. Or a young and unproven offense. Hope Mr. Busch can help them out.

Yeah, hmmm wonder why they are safeties . Do agree though, needs to improve...

We used to have a big time play making secondary, over the years itsdwindled down in that aspect, but still been an elite coverage unit typically. Greedy seems like the first true playmaking db we've had in a while. Adams was great, but he could have made a few more "big plays" in terms of picks as well.

I'd like to know what they consider a good number.

This gave me flashbacks of Jalen Collins in 2014 dropping like 3 or 4 uncontested picks against Ole Miss. We won but that still triggers me

Probably all DBs combined, doubt just safeties but interesting if so

What bothered me is The dude didn’t even wear gloves.
Like you drop a few interceptions make try the gloves

DJ dropped pick after pick after pick over the last couple years. Don't know if he's counted in that since he played mostly corner or nickel.

So about 1 drop per game by our safeties? I would like to know what the avg is across the SEC before I get too outraged. Now corners dropping that many... That would be a little troubling for sure. And what’s considered a dropped INT? Many times when a safety is involved, it’s a tipped ball where the ball is spinning end over end or very wobbly or whatever...and very hard to catch even for a wr.

Tip drill is run everyday at every highschool throughout the country. They're not a hard play to make

I’m not talking about the ones that pop straight up in the air and gently fall to the ground.

That’s alarming. I remeber Adams was one of the best college safeties I’ve ever seen, but can recall him dropping a few interceptions. I think Delpit will come trough this year and have 4-5 interceptions.

Of course, a dropped INT then becomes a pass defended, skewing the result.
2017: LSU had 64 break ups & 12 INTs... well below 33%. BUT 64 break ups is quite alot.

Have you considered that there may be a reason they don't play for the offense?
