I think LSU easily covers if they come out focused.

I bet Purdue has a ton of portal entries and draft opt outs.

Any idea who?

O’Connell came into the year with draft hype but he’s now projected as an UDFA so I doubt he declares.

Purdue has nation’s leading receiver. I hope we can avenge last year’s bowl showing. 10 wins would be great in first year

They had several starters jump in the portal and most people think that their coach will take the Louisville job any day now. Wouldn’t surprise me at all to see a double digit line at kickoff.

Take the generous 8 points now as the spread will go down.

these types of bowls are completely unpredictable. Opt-outs, and emotional desire of the two teams is a huge unknown. Some teams are fired up to play, others don't give a damn.

Really hard to predict that before the teams hit the field, but I can tell you that I don't give a hoot about playing Purdue, not after beating Bama, having a shot at the playoffs, and playing UGA.

Now I'll still watch and hope we dominate, but if the players feel the way I feel, watch out.

I thought they were saying 5.5 not long after the bowl was announced. It will depend on transfers and opt outs so it may well fluctuate.

I wonder how much playing not to get hurt factors into the emotional desire?

Exactly which is why losing to Purdue is unacceptable. Kelly had everything on the line in College Station and we came out flat. Can't finish the season with a loss to Purdue. We should win this game 34-17 but lets see if he has them ready
