What 3 things must LSU show this weekend to demonstrate the offense is on track (as a program) to perform at a high level long term? Yes, lesser opponent - focus on what 3 fundamentals?

honestly, they don't need to do any of the bullshite that was prevalent on the message boards when the whole world wanted to fire Miles...

at this point, all they need to do is win and I will be a damn happy man.

I feel like TD is becoming more and more prone to click bait thread topics.

Top 5 LSU defenses of all time.

What three things do we need to see to establish__________?

The one thing they are all sleeping on...

Not a fan of this posting style. It feels like bloggers seeking material for their crappy web columns.

1) speed up pace. Can we go into another gear other than "eat clock" mode?
2) prove the minimal amount of penalties wasn't a fluke.
3) QB hitting different passes. Thought he did great, but let's see how great he/they look with a larger sample size (30+ throws)

ETA for all the grumpy arse posters:
1a. I get the strategy. I'd like to see another to "build confidence". Didn't know I should spell it out.
2a. Offense had 7 penalties... 4 of which happened on the first two drives of a BRAND NEW OFFENSE. Then, there was one in the 2nd quarter and two more on the mop up drive in the 4th. Not going to get much better you negative bitches.

They can literally run the ball every single play this week, win by 35+ and I would be ok with it.

Games like this are meant to be practice games to build confidence and momentum.

The one thing lacking the past 5 years is the passing game. We need to throw the ball at least 25 times and keep the same efficiency as last week.

Give the fans the show they have been wanting to see for years. We don't need to spread the ball out and throw it 50 times a game to do that either.

Just implement good ground game, complemented with great OL play, fakes, and PA off of it. Put the ball in different playmakers hands and let them do thier thing.

Don't be afraid to take chances anywhere on the field. Play offensive like Canada said. That's really it. HTT

I would also like to see us throw the ball near the RZ, on early downs, use fakes when they count, move Etling around a little, not much, just enough to throw them off. Use our big Athletes for jump balls, want to see a better passing game from the Tigers. We know we can run the ball. We brought Canada here to call a masterful game. I think the fans want to see that. Not do just enough to win but do everything we are capable of doing.

Are you high? Either that or you love big 12 and Aggie football.

Nothing better to wear a defense down than moving ball and eating clock, followed by a score.

And this works for 8 of the 12 teams we play every year. LSU can run and win with this talent every year 8 games, Les Miles proved this with the occasional 10 win season.

With Canada it looks like we have changed the predictability of our offense some what. College football has evolved with the teams winning championships having good QB's and a good well rounded passing attack to compliment a good running game.

YES! Like ATM! They are the best about running a fast pace offense and quickly getting their defense back on the field.

This! I'd like to see Neil Farrell and Justin Thomas get lots of reps, along with Glen Logan. If Herron can't be relied on later in the season that's our depth behind the two DEs.

WR, OL, and QB are the other areas where depth is a little concerning.
