More like he allowed his DT QB to play like a DT QB.

Then started Jennings again the next game.

So glad he's gone

Remember when people thought Brandon Harris was going to be our savior?

I member.

Funny enough, the same things were said about Jennings after the Arkansas game the year before.

I cant help but wonder how he would have turned out if he was with a coaching staff that understood and schemed around his strengths and developed him right from day 1

Just watch all the other LSU wins over miss st except 1999,2014, and 2017 lol. The game that I thought we were going to lose was the 2015 game in Starkville. Miss st had two attempts to win at end of regulation and luckily the kicker missed both times.

That was the 2 minute offense against prevent. The only time BH was ever successful

I remember seeing a BH interview where he said that was his favorite game at LSU because he played and and they ALMOST came back to win.

Go look when he was inserted into the game and the score It was his best game considering the amount of time he had to work with.

We literally were a catch or two away from outright winning that game. It was pretty impressive what he did in that short amount of time.

You can say well they had a huge lead and played back, but we had the ball late with a chance to win.. not just tie, but win. He made some NFL throws in that one.

I just did a quick google search on Brandon Harris and found that he is apart of the Texas coaching staff now? Anyone know what his role is there?

I can give you a few reasons:
1. He was an instate kid, which means a lot
2. He had a great relationship with Cameron
3. Mett was lighting it up Harris' senior year through the air
4. Les is a great car salesman

I remember almost coming out of that game looking like a genius.

When we were down big I told a bunch of girls around me that “Mississippi State hasn’t been here before, they don’t know how to win. They’re gonna make a bunch of silly mistakes like giving up defensive TDs and snapping it over the QBs head (both of which happened); we’ll win it last second”.

I was never as excited about Jennings as I was about Harris. and I was kinda feeling good about Jennings after Arky (after the Cap One, not so much).

LINK - 5 minute Youtube highlights

side note, I was pretty excited about Dupre after this one too

It was more a case of Mullen morphing into Les Miles. Mullen foolishly took his foot off the gas in the fourth quarter.
