We are #3 in NET. #12 in RPI.

Our overall strength of schedule is #83. Out of conference is 310.

We've played 3 games vs the current Top 25 and our record is 1 and 2.

Putting us as a #2 or #3 seed, honestly, either one is fair.

Having said that, what Coach Mulkey said - "It's South Carolina and then everyone else" really looks true.

They look head and shoulders better than everyone else.

And teams ranked #2 through #15 all look pretty good and balanced. Any of them could make a run at the Final Four.

The loss to Tennessee sealed it. And like other's have said. It doesn't matter.

The way things are, all that really matters is earning a 4-seed or better. By earning a 4-seed or better, LSU is guaranteed to host the 1st 2 rounds and cannot be placed in the same region as USC.

Did you watch them against Tennessee? They were sleep walking after being up big. Very disappointing performance.

Putting the #3 team in the NET as a 3 seed doesn’t say a whole lot for the usefulness of that metric the NCAA likes to tout.

They tout it for men's, but really don't factor it very much for women's. I don't think they even use a Quad system.

We beat the shite out of the NET teams ranked 300+ so bad the margin of victory bump superseded the knock we got for playing a crappy team. We unintentionally gamed the formula.

ESPN yoyo saying this, not the selection committee. The committee had us at 5 (top #2 seed) at last reveal. Since then we have 1 loss, by 2 points to the #15 NET team. Almost every top 10 NET team (not SC or UCONN) has either multiple losses in the same time frame, or 1 loss that is to a lower ranked team (NET) than ours. We will be a 2 seed, just don't want it to be in SC's bracket.

It’s strength of schedule, CKM purposely scheduled this way because wasn’t sure what the roster was going to be made of at the time. Next year she will schedule tougher and the start of 24 season will be a marquee team with a marquee schedule that nobody wants to play. 24-25 Johnson SEC FOY, Reese POY?, Williams HS POY They will be stacked

To be fair KM seems to be just as excited as Dale Brown always was about playing in the SEC Tourney. She knew their seed wouldn’t be affected unless they somehow made the CG & beat USCe, so I’m not sure how or even if they were disappointing in their performance??
