This is the final nail in the coffin! No way Alleva survives this now that Wade is reinstated. There was absolutely no reason for suspending him in the midst of a NCAA Tourney run!
Now F. King probably won’t be fired. The BOS won’t fire him and his buddy John Bel Edwards will protect him. He'll get rid of Alleva in order to save his own arse

Edwards' relationship with Alexander is an axis of evil for LSU on a similar level as Satan is to Emmert. Vulgar and dastardly deeds done dirt cheap to help one another on the while with LSU's best interest being leveled. Something needs to be done.

Unfortunately, I fear that Joe Alleva will be the pound of flesh to save all the other idiots that played a part in both this and all the other frick ups and underachievement over the years.
Joe is and always was just a fall-guy for his bosses. That's how a guy who was involved in the Duke Lacrosse Scandal gets another shot. Nobody's going to hire a guy like that for his administrative prowess. They needed a stool pigeon and somebody to fill the position and take the heat. I'm sure both he and the administration went into his initial hiring negotiations with the understanding that being the scapegoat was going to be part of his employment and that if it came down to it, he would get the blame and the axe if the heat got too hot.
But don't be discouraged. There's still a way to get rid of F*King. Keep withholding those donations. That's how Will Wade got reinstated and it's how Joe Alleva is a dead man walking and is going to get fired here soon.
Money talks and bullshite walks. Cinch those purse strings tight and ask for the moon. Don't be bashful Louisiana.
Be greedy. Winners don't settle.

I want to preface my comments by saying, this is no endorsement of JBE.
It's sad that, as Louisiana residents, we have to concern ourselves in the voting booth with issues of LSU's leadership. We need a voter referendum to remove the power of the governor over LSU's BOS.
Politics should never play a part in the State's flagship public University system.

So I’ve been listening to hardcore history and I believe I learned something that applies to this situation.
Dan Carlin mentions that early in the war (WWI) both sides of the conflict had to remove large numbers of their generals and replace them because they weren’t Great War time generals. Basically saying that in times of peace they did a good enough job but they weren’t creative thinkers and they would lose the war if left up to them.
I believe what we have in F King and Joe are peace time leaders. Guys that kiss the right asses to get into power and as long as everything is going well, they function good enough. BUT when shite hits the fan, that’s when you find out your peace time leaders have glaring holes in their skill set and that’s when you learn that you need to make a move or go down with them.

I’ve never seen the LSU Administration as incompetent as they are at this time.

Let’s just say it’s really important for us to keep the heat and focus on F’King after Alleva gets canned.
