not true...A&M still has to play Tenn, Alabama, Ole Miss and LSU
Bama has to play us, Tenn, and A&m...even Auburn is a possible loss for them (haha).

Too many games left to know for sure...

They will have to make this game up or force FL to give the game to LSU. There's no other choice!! No way will LSU just give up a game no way.

Technically no but reasonably safe to think Bama will finish with only 1 sec loss and if that's the case then yes assuming we win out

If Tennessee defeats Bama and A&M and LSU wins out LSU is your SEC West champion

What we can agree on is that LSU controlled its own fate until the UF game was cancelled. Now we don't.

This isn't just bragging rights it's a lot of money lost if LSU is screwed so that could create a huge freakn mess.

Not necessarily

This is the tiebreaker procedure:

1. Two-Team Tie: In the event two teams are tied for a division title, the following procedure will be used in the following order:

A. Head-to-head competition between the two tied teams;

B. Records of the tied teams within the division;

C. Head-to-head competition against the team within the division with the best overall (divisional and non-divisional) Conference record, and proceeding through the division (multiple ties within the division will be broken from first to last and a tie for first place will be broken before a tie for fourth place);

D. Overall record against non-divisional teams;

E. Combined record against all common non-divisional teams;

F. Record against the common non-divisional team with the best overall Conference record (divisional or non-divisional) and proceeding through other common non-divisional teams based on their order of finish within their division;

G. Best cumulative Conference winning percentage of non-divisional opponents; and

The first is head-to-head. Which LSU would hypothetically win over everyone but Auburn. So the question would become is LSU eligible for a tie at all because they will only play 7 SEC games? If so, then LSU would win the head-to-head unless the SEC writes in a rule that doesn't currently exist

Someone has got to demand answers.
There will have to be a rule change (that has to be announced right away), or Florida forfeits or something.
It's absolutely unfathomable to expect LSU to play their hearts out with the HOPE that something happens at the end of the season.
I can't imagine the backlash the SEC and Florida would see if LSU did win out and Bama went to the game.
This was a mini-melt compared to what that would be.

Alt, no way for there to be a tie if we play one less game.

Unless the SEC counts the game as the equivalent of a UF forfeit for SECCG calculation purposes.

The answer to this is easy. In the event that this affects both sides of the conference: push back the SECCG a week. It's easy.

No chance the SEC will allow a division champ that plays one less game. For LSU to win the west, this game will have to be made up.
