LSU has its Billy Donovan

In the late ‘90s, Florida struck gold by hiring a young 30-something basketball genius to try his hand at elevating the Gators from their status as a potential sleeping giant that lived largely in the shadow of the football program. Even though he had many opportunities to leave for a traditional “blue blood”, he stayed in Gainesville and went on to win 2 national championships.
LSU finally has its Billy Donovan, ladies and gents. It is imperative that everything possible be done to keep him in Baton Rouge.

Good comparison.
With all that said, LSU and Wade will get their due once they start consistently make the NCAA tourney with some runs along the way.

This is a pretty great comparison all around.

Spot on comparison. It will be up to the LSU AD to keep him happy

I think the biggest draw (besides a pay raise) to keep WW in Baton Rouge is the talent he has assembled. Should be really good for the near future at least.
