LSU Gym - Back to Back Regular Season SEC Champs

With Florida’s loss to Missouri tonight, the Gym ladies have won back to back SEC Regular Season titles.

Well deserved
Consistency wins and LSU has been the most consistent SEC team all year. Sure we had miscues that kept us in the low 197s but we always hit when it counts.
It'll be even sweeter to win the SEC Championship meet for a second year in a row, the Georgia and Florida fans won't be happy

I would have never guessed this would happen before the season started when you take into acount the HUGE scores we lost from last year compared to UF returning everyone, and then also bringing in such an incredibly talented group of freshmen.

Talk about biggest underachiever, that award of the year has to go to Florida.
They returned everyone and added multiple ELITE gymnasts/former national team members.

Yea, I’m not sure what is going on with them this year. They could shock us all in the post season though, but losing Kennedy was a very big blow for them. I just love those freshman they have so much, and I feel like the coaching staff has kinda done a disservice to them. I feel awful saying that though with only being half way through their freshman season. I just can’t stand what they did with those floor routines. Morgan better not let anyone from Florida choreograph her floor during her years there, because I wouldn’t be able to handle them killing her beautiful artistry as well.

I feel exactly the same. I love their freshman but yes the choreography is absolutely putrid

I recommend fans watch this and understand how lucky we are here at LSU with our floor choreography.
Florida deserves to be punished by the NCAA if they kill hurd's artistry once she competes at Florida. Maybe she will compete in the olympics then become rich and never have to experience it
UCLA can have some awful ones as well. I remember Kayla Ross shite show on floor last year where literally she would roll around the floor for half the routine and do poses with her pony tail

I’ll take our inconsistencies and “low 197s” over Florida’s any day. Seriously am at a loss for words what’s going on with them this season given what they have. Then again, was also at a loss for words for Oklahoma’s below 197 score a couple weeks ago (a team that “deep” and talented should never have 3 falls on beam) but at least they have more consistently hit 198+ (More than we have).

I have to admit UCLA has upped their game on floor this year. Its mot Disney on a mat anymore. I think they may have learned they have to if they want to get anywhere near a natty ever again
