Most athletic departments simply can not survive a year without football. It’s as simple as that. And without an athletic department how long will those schools survive?
I understand what you're saying, and what you say is true. It's just that it's not worth risking students' health and lives. Maybe it's okay for the NFL, but not for schools.

The covid death rate for college aged people is roughly 0.001%. And the hospitalization rate is only like 2%.
Think about that.
The act of playing football itself is more risky to a students health than covid 19. Especially when taking into account all the long term health problems football can cause.

You’ll see. Football will be player in the 20-21 school year. Might be in the spring might be in the fall. Might be a full schedule might be conference only. There might be fans there might not be fans. But football WILL BE PLAYED. It will be played because it has to be played.

Those numbers are lower than that. How many have had covid, and recovered at home, or been asymptomatic, thus never being recorded as a case. The ACTUAL mortality rate is MICROSCOPIC.

so we shouldn't have a football season because it will have a *??? hahaha

So what if they play or not. Dont see many fans will be tuning in or in the seats. Everyone i have talked too are through with lsu and pro sports. If you support these racists you are as bad as the mobs burning and looting.

Tigerfan63 you are full of crap! Everyone I talk to is ready to see LSU play in Tiger Stadium! You think LSU is racist? You are an idiot.

Dude, it isn’t happening. I’m sorry.

I am very connected to a few hospitals locally. And the number of beds used for Covid are not increasing
I live in NE Florida. I’m retired fro hospital work but am still in contact with former coworkers. My old hospital has 120+ COVID patients in house last week. Workers are stressed out. Hospital workers test positive and are unable to work, meaning they’re working with less staff.
It is a crisis. You can live in denial but COVID is real.
I’ve heard the stories about people who weren’t tested and Received notifications of positive results. That’s been told in many different areas and is likely an urban myth.

I looked up the death rate for playing football, and it included deaths that were from secondary effects of playing over time and the death rate was 0.7%. Yes it's apparently 70 times more deadly than Covid

Can you aggregate that for us since you are our intellectual better? How about a report on the other 6,145 hospitals and the data on their ICU capacity status?
Then do it in a normal year. TIA.

Well Baws, get ready for us to repeat

So spring and then turn around and play again in the fall?
Nah. Not gonna happen
Much more likely that some form of football will be played fall winter

Athletic Departments can not withstand no football season. Spring season is the very last resort but they’ll play in the spring before they cancel the season all together.

Wtf are you babbling about .if its serious enough for you to hate these kids, then maybe you are the racist? Most are trying to stand up for there race.i think its somewhat misguided, but I can promise you that if, as a white guy, I felt that I was treated differently because of the color of my skin,I would be pissed off too .
