Randy Clements was recently let go by Lane Kiffin at Ole Miss.

Clements is a proven offensive line coach that has also spent time at Florida State and Houston.
It’s unclear why Clements was fired by Kiffin just days after the Rebels’ spring game, though it appears this move was for “football reasons”. It’s possible that Kiffin and Clements just didn’t see eye to eye.
That’s why I think it would be wise for Orgeron to bring Clements to Baton Rouge as an offensive analyst. It’s exactly the type of move that Saban has been making for years at Alabama (bringing in fired coaches to serve as analysts).
Saban obviously does this for a reason — it creates a more efficient process for the coaching staff. Having an experienced position coach serving in an analyst role (which is mostly breaking down film, studying tendencies, etc), frees up the on-field coaches to focus on other things.

LSU doesn’t necessarily need offensive line coaching help, but having a former SEC run game coordinator on staff could absolutely be beneficial to the Tigers.
Plus, there’s no doubt that Ole Miss is going to continue to improve under Kiffin. Bringing Clements to Baton Rouge could help the Tigers in their preparation for the Rebels in 2021.

Coach O and Kiffin are tight friends. Im sure Kiffin has told O or will if O asks him on why he let him go.

could even be a step further where Kiffin said to O that he and the guy didn’t see eye to eye and would he consider shadows staffing him to give him an option if he doesn’t find a spot as an OL coach.

Why? 15 & 0, a natty, and top five recruiting classes are not good enough for you?

His best success was at Baylor. It's his time at Baylor why Taggert hired him at FSU.

It's looking that way... seems like a "conflict in personalities". Lebby and Clements have been together for over 10 years combined through various stops. So I doubt it is conflict with him. Assuming no "HR type violations" I can see Clements (who Texan with all the trimmings through and through) and Kiffin (who is just Kiffin) might not have been getting along too well.

agreed. Sticking with the same assumption that there's nothing "HR like" going on, I say do it.

If you have 2 you got 1, you have 1 you got none.
It's always good to have a plan B. And in the short term...
A) he's got the experience to be very helpful on the analytical side, OL and offense in general.
B) Could also pay dividends with on-campus recruiting, especially TX OL.
