O couldn't keep his hands out the offense and lied about letting his coordinators have full control.

Run off Canada and pissing away millions of dollars in the process and wasted a year with a new philosophy only to now learn a brand new one for next year.

No search and promote SE to OC, after we were told the best coordinators will be hired at LSU.

Just promoted people within and hire dozen analysts

Told multiple top recruits to walk because he was sure he had what he wanted.

LSU misses out on our top prospect then lies to LSU and its fans and basically gave a birdie to the fans in the conference

And to cap it all off, there is now uncertainties with a few players on the current roster.

This is even worse than the 9-4 season.

All LSU fans should be livid.

These are systemic problems. Alarm bells should be going off for everyone in a position of power within the AD. It is the head coach's job to establish a framework for recruitment and implement a strategy accounting for all possible contingencies. This is the second time in as many years that O has ignored interested players while pursuing other talent, only to ultimately come away with neither. That is unacceptable.

O's pitch literally was, we will recruit the best talent and land top classes every year.

O has been at the helm for LSU for about two years now and we land our worst class in decades. It addresses some of our needs, but it also missed out on so many top prospects and now they are off to other schools we face every year

Not startled.
You could see the result coming, we're just working out the details on how its gonna go down.
And F. King and Joe "The Search" Alleva are just spectators at this point, having put these forces in motion.

No, LSU fans should've been "startled" when Alleva hired O. What you're seeing now is just the inevitable playing out. This program is circling the drain and you have fricking Alexander, Alleva and a majority of the BOS to thank for it. If you want it to change then stop spending your money on LSU football.

I still just don't get it. If Alleva doesn't want to lose his job, then what the frick was in that binder that convinced him that O was more qualified than every other coach in the country?

Startled by whats happened with the LSU football program the past 2 months I am not.

Startled by the snowflake cry baby mentality of our fan base I sure am. Softest base in the country. Soft as cotton.

I'd say since November 2015. Remember being undefeated and the highest ranked (#4) team in the SEC headed into the 2015 Bama game with LF at running back? I thought that was going to be our year.

Then 3 terrible losses in a row, a coaching search that was aborted, an off-season of promises, an early season firing, an interim coach gets mediocre results, gets hired with a binder full of more promises, then he embarrasses us all with a couple of the worst losses in school history.

Nothing will improve without new leadership. I'm not mad at O; I'm mad at the guys who made him a victim of the Peter Principle......again. Get rid of them.
