i was never a fan of les miles and never will be. Got cussed at by all my friends for being critical on the hire from day one and now most of them are coming up to me and saying I was right. I know a bad coach when I see one.

Why am I not surprised you're in this thread? You are in the same class as foosball. You'd rather be right than anything else. So all of your points are the same as foosball's. Derived from the hatred of Miles and all skewed.

If Miles fails, then you're right and nothing else matters in the world. LSU could hire Mike Price following Miles yet the only thing that matters to you guys are the satisfaction of being right about Miles.

For those claiming we area "laughing stock" fanbase because of doubt about Miles, you people need to get a serious grip on reality. The national outlook on Miles is far more critical. Ask ANY Big12 fan and see what kind of response you get about Miles.

I am not anti Miles. I am just becoming highly suspicious. Last year gave anyone with a brain a reason to be suspicious. Miles let a sinking ship sink and did nothing (obviously) to make the correct changes.

This year the team appears to be regressing already, a carbon copy of last year.

EVERY tiger fan should be concerned. Now, to go as far as to call for his head, I don't know at this point. But every fan should be a little wary about the direction of the program at this point.

Lets see (again) if Miles makes the correct changes this week.

Way too much rational thought here for the rant. You are about to be called a spoiled negatiger and reminded that we are 4-0.

well what side are u on b/c I know I still support our coach 100%. I have been playing football for 12 years and guess what people...the coaches don't suit up and play the game! Players do!

That's the problem, most never played. They just assume a coach can make players execute when all he can do is teach them how to play the game. This same crowd were claiming how great JJ was before he ever saw a SEC defense.
I can't understand how piccalo players know more than the coaches!

the defensive coaching staff and the qb situation weren't really that fixable during the season...

That had more to do with Bo P. than it did Miles, ask any player who was there for it.

I'm just saying while the opinion on the rant means little, there are some who have a voice with the AD/school Pres/etc.
I would think anyone with a "voice" would be smart enough to let the season play out before wanting a coach fired. I don't think anyone will be taken very seriously by the BOS if they come in wanting to fire the coach of an undefeated team. As long as Miles is in a position to win the SEC west, the administration will stay behind him.

so Bo engineered one of the most potent LSU offenses in its history...wow, he was good.

on the other hand, many fans will tell you we won in spite of Bo.

Personnel issues, execution, not losing the team....

these are things a coach is paid to do. We could look at any coach in the nation and give them the same benefit of the doubt, that once a season starts improvement can't occur.

The bottom line is LSU regressed during the season last year. If Miles can salvage a 9-3 season this year I will certainly have a helluva lot more respect for his coaching prowess this year, but this team has a LONG way to go to be in that position.

Mississippi State is in the bottom half of FBS schoos (MAC, Sun Belt includded) and LSU needed a pick six, and a punt return as well as a goal line stop to pull it out. LSU was out gained and out played by Moo U, and arguably outcoached.

There is rational reason for concern. Concern is not being "anti Miles"...its being realistic about what we are seeing on the field. I am in no way calling for Miles head. I am wary that Miles will lose this team again and have seen nothing, so far to give me any indication otherwise.

91 yard KR return for a TD called back and 2 fumbles drving into Greenie territory. I was soooo frustrated. McNeese beat McNeese. ...with a little Andre Anderson mixed in there somewhere

Talk bout the perfect example of the tail trying to wag the dog.

The day I turn on a coach who is like 48-11 with a national title in 4+ years, is the day someone needs to commit me cause I have lost touch with reality!

He shouldn't be. I don't agree with everything he wrote in that post, but there are some valid points he stated.

But the dumbasses who just pop in with no point other than:

Miles = Coker
bad hire in the first place
hated him since the UT loss in '05

Are rantards who sound pretty stupid and the respones they receive in turn are valid.
