Anyone who is not self aware of events crumbling around him, negativity, and fans creating a catastrophe syndrome that could engulf him and his football team is a fool. If he loses the fan base, he could lose the team.

his goal is to win games and championships, he will be judged by this and the decisions he makes should be around those goals. Some of those decisions have longer range implications and will not be understood by the bulk of a bunch of simpletons who think they are great fans because they drink for 3 days before every game.

Man your just thick. Take some time and think now. I dont know if you have ever played sports but when you have a coach that u dont like or worse dont respect you can tend not to play arse hard. They have no leadership. Im not saying that every player is like that but the team just looks lost out there.

And I'm saying that I don't think Bo Pelini had much to do with the fact that LSU had a very potent offense in 2007...and for the record, I'm a Bo P fan.

I wouldn't say that I have turned on him, but it drives me nuts as I watch these games again and see absolutely no emotion from him on the sidelines. What the heck happened to that? Is he stuck in last year? His passion and emotion is what lead us to only losing 6 games in 3 years because the teams took on his persona. He needs to find that again, and find it quickly.

I'm just saying while the opinion on the rant means little, there are some who have a voice with the AD/school Pres/etc.

and those people:
never agree
serve their own interests
do not make the final decisions

get back to me when the wheels have fallen off and the football revenue is way off and THEN we will talk about Miles being on the outs with the ADMINISTRATION

I would think anyone with a "voice" would be smart enough to let the season play out before wanting a coach fired. I don't think anyone will be taken very seriously by the BOS if they come in wanting to fire the coach of an undefeated team. As long as Miles is in a position to win the SEC west, the administration will stay behind him.

I don't see anyone saying Miles should be fired mid-season.

Okay. But plenty on this board are saying at the end of the season. And that's just dumb.

So I guess they were in love with each other last year.

If Ciron Black "is just going through the motions" cause he's not feeling it from the coaches or whatever your trying to say then he's the way bigger dumbass than any of the coaches. He has the opportunity to play at the next level and make millions of dollars, at least that's what everybody is saying going into this year.

Why he would throw that away for some coach he'll probably never see again just doesn't make any sense, and if it's true he should have gotten out of football years ago. I'm just trying to make the point it doesn't make any sense if what your saying is true. But I see the same thing you do from him every game.

If he doesn't improve his coaching, he won't win many championships so the point is moot.

When these simpletons become disenfranchised with the team and stop paying to come to the games, the damage will be irreversible.

Based on where we are at on 9/28/09 yes. It would take a total melt down for that to change. I'm talking losing out on the remaining SEC schedule.

But I do have serious concerns about Miles and have had them for some time now.

one of my biggest pet peeves is this right here

when saban used the "catastrophe syndrome" line he was DISMISSING the irrational thinking of the common LSU fan because common fans don't understand how a season is a long PROCESS and they take specific instances and exaggerate their importance.

Sort of like this entire thread

I played sports and had many coaches I thought were idiots. I played my arse off though, for my school, and especially for my friends who busted their arse at practice just as hard as I did day in and day out. I understand not being happy when your favorite coach leaves. But if he's just going through the motions because of it he needs to get the frick off the team. I don't want that trash playing for my school.

The fan base that has turned on him is fricking stupid! Guess how many 4-0 starts the great Saban had? People really have short memories they think all that Saban did here was nothing but sunshine and roses. I damn sure don't remember it that way.

All CLM does is win why is this a bad thing? Sure last year wasn't up to our standards but I'll take a blow out bowl win over losing our last two games and getting our beat in a bowl game by a nobody! Those 12 wins don't mean shite IMO.

Why can't everyone wait and see how this season plays out before calling for the mans head?
