Someone posted earlier that they had tag numbers from the car of the perps. Hear anything like that yet?
I wonder why the admins keep deleting and anchoring threads. I guess they are waiting for a sustainable 'link' and not hearsay?? Seems the local news would pick up on this, or LSU would certainly inquire about the safety of traveling fans.

That same guy who's correcting me is confirming the incident and that he was at the game and that he is an LSU fan. I often use fan/alum interchangeably as most of the people I associate with who are LSU Fans also attended the University.

Mountaineer fans should be showing more sympathy honestly. Doesn't matter if anything is exaggerated.

I haven't read entire thread, but the story is 100% true.
I know them personally.
Marcus is still in a Pittsburg hospital.
Police were given license plate of perps and did NOTHING!!!
Therefore...no police report.

I just got off the phone with my buddy in DC who is good friends with Marcus and it's true...Furthermore, it happened at the game. Why in the hell would we make this up?
But judging from the Mason's facebook sites, his and hers, this thing appears to have gone down exactly as described.
As to why the Police and Newspapers were trying to keep a lid on the story (or at least not go public with it), we can only speculate.
I'm surprised it's true . . . and appalled.

btw Im not trying to be insensitve, I really feel bad for this guy and I hope he makes a full recovery quickly, any assailants should be punished to the full extent of the law...I just know WVU fans wouldnt beat up an LSU fan just for being an LSU fan

After visiting Morgantown this weekend, I disagree.
You fans are very polarizing. They were either INCREDIBLY hospitable and friendly, some of the best I've ever met.
