LSU during Brady, LSU post-Brady

I'm just gonna dump some numbers here on a board that spent five years demanding that Brady be fired (of course, it was I who predicted the Final Four two years in advance. Feel free to give me props--I've earned them).
Of course I think Will Wade is a solid coach, and I hope he coaches at LSU for a long time and leaves amicably on his own terms.
And now, the numbers:
LSU under Brady: 192-139 (.580); 74-93 (.443)
LSU after Brady: 185-157 (.541); 80-102 (.440)
If you were on this board as early as 11 years ago, and you wanted Brady fired, I own you forever. Well, Brady owns you really, but still.
Maybe I'll chime back in with some football numbers in 8 or so years.

I still remember BadCat. The eternal Brady sympathizer. What a time to be alive.

Wade is the right guy now.

I'm certainly not advocating against Wade. He allowed his team to sit on the ball with 2 minutes left and blow the lead today, which was... less than ideal. But I still believe in the guy.
I was a big Brady fan, though. He wasn't elite by a long shot, obviously, but his teams always played extremely hard. And when he had good recruiting classes, the man won games. We all know that basketball doesn't get the support it needs. I thought he was unfairly judged, and was sad to see him go. Glad he's back in some capacity.

Where’s the Brady steamroller?

Did your arm deattach patting yourself on the back?

You're constant knighting for Brady is weird as shite. What a weird shtick.

No, Coach Wade did not allow his team to sit on the ball. The team ran half court offensive sets, then when it was time to shoot, a turnover would occurred, like three or more possessions in a row.
The team got tight. It's alright. It happens with a young team.

Firing Brady was a mistake.
A loss tomorrow and firing Les will have been a mistake in hindsight.

Don't think those first couple seasons can be put on Brady.

Think about it from my point of view: I was right about something, and the rest of the world was completely wrong about it. I knew I was right, and I've been proven right, and all the people who called me an idiot for it for years know how right I was, and the numbers prove it, but they don't want to admit it. It's the most desirable spot for the male ego, and Brady is the mere object of it.

It isn't about Brady. It's about how right I was. I tried to tell you, but you didn't listen.

I wasn't calling for him to be gone but in 10 full seasons he had 7 winning seasons, 3 winning SEC records, 2 .500 even SEC records. Not counting the year he was fired
The 3 successive coaches in the next 10 years had 7 winning seasons, 3 winning SEC Records, 2 .500 even SEC records.
The year he was fired he had a losing record and a losing SEC record with only 1 SEC win, with 10 games to go, all SEC games. His successor for those 10 games was 5-5.
If by owns you mean has roughly equivalent mediocrity, the I would agree with you. It looks to me like Wade may do well enough to have a winning season, what will you narrative be then,

For the 14th time Brady had stro and a weaker sec. still a great run but this wade team would run with that brady FF team and probably beat them.

Dude, Wade slowed the game to a snails pace. That had a lot to do with the team getting tight. You gotta keep your foot on the gas with a young team. Don't slow them down and make them start overthinking it.
The poor rebounding is on the players. I didn't suggest that Wade single handedly lost the game. Only that his decision to slow it down killed the momentum. There's a time to run clock, but he started too early, imo.
