A lot of guys, some starters, who left to get more playing time are not starting at their new teams: Max Johnson, Eli Ricks, Dwight McGlothern, Landon Jackson, Koy Moore, Korey Kiner, Josh White, Joe Evans, & Devonta Lee to name a few. Others are stranded in the portal. The grass is not always greener. I wish some of them would be more patient and realize the portal giveth and the portal taketh away.

Screw Eli, but Saban did not pick him up to sit the bench. My guess is that he will be starting by SEC play

Dwight didn't really have a choice. Plus he plus he played a lot and played well for Arkansas yesterday

Kiner had a TD yesterday, and Dwight had an INT. Players tranfer for different reasons, and it's only going to be more prevalent.

Did Arik Gilbert play yesterday? Doesn't look like he recorded any stats if he did.

Had one target. He is also behind two of the best TE’s in college football.

I think the best hope for him is that he work on himself and getting his head right. Stars ahead of him shine, go pro early, and he shows out late in his career

Eli Ricks not starting is shocking. He’s one of the best corners in football. Goes to show you talent isn’t everything. He has a lot to learn when it comes to work ethic, demeanor, and mental game.

There’s not a bigger Dwight McGlothern fan than me but he had an interception yesterday and then got bet badly on several deep balls. If the QB would of been accurate with the throws he would if given up at least 14 pts. They pulled him in the end because of this. He is a gambler right now that doesn’t play assignment football. I wish him luck but I am beginning to see why BK let him go.

Kool- Aid was #1 CB in his class.
Not like AL was not already loaded with some of the best DBs already. Throw in a player that needs to mold into the Saban culture and walking right over as the top dog may not work.

True, but I think they have a rs freshman on the other side.

Which tells me he has a ways to go to get in line.

That was Mcglotherns problem here too. He would bake some really good plays, snag a pick, then also just completely lose his man in coverage

Is back injury what they now call getting arrested for speeding and marajuana possession? Saban said “it was really a more difficult transition for him physically, emotionally, mentally, to come from where he was, to where he needs to get to be a kind of player that he wants to be.” Sounds like Saban speak for he needs to get his mind and behavior right.

We lost these guys: Max Johnson, Eli Ricks, Dwight McGlothern, Landon Jackson, Koy Moore, Korey Kiner, Josh White, Joe Evans, TJ & Devonta Lee .

We will probably start 2 DBs with a HS ranking over 1,000. I'm not sure I have ever seen a +1,000 DB start for LSU. It might all work out, but it defies logic. I don't think any of the listed players above were ranked over 300.

Ricks is not that good. If he was he would be playing.

When he’s not completely blowing his responsibility.
He’s a great athlete but not a team player.
