If on Jan 1 2000 someone told LSU fans that over the next two decades LSU would have multiple NCs in both baseball and football, but more in the latter sport, I think everyone would be ecstatic. It’s been a great century so far for LSU sports.

Pat Henry won multiple NC's in the early 2000's including a 3-peat with the women's team . Still baffled why they let him leave.

Pat Henry won a total of 8 combined indoors and outdoors NCs from 2000-2004. 3 for the men's team and 5 women's.

Was talking with a former LSU track star at a meet earlier this year. He loves Pat Henry and when I asked him that question, he said A&M was willing to provide much more support for track and field. Simple as that.
