Why more than any other? Just because we have won 6 national championships (most of which were back when game was different)? That's a pretty arrogant assertion to make.

So you say Florida is the standard. Well let's look at that over the last 10 year period.

Florida - 1 nat. champ., 1 runner-up, 6 CWS appearances, 4 conference championships, and 2 conference tournament championships

LSU - 1 nat. champ., 1 runner-up, 5 CWS appearances, 4 conference championships, and 6 conference tournament championships

Facts don't lie. And I would say those facts right there show that LSU is every bit as dominant of a program as Florida over the last 10 years!
