Agreed. If we lose to Kentucky on Tuesday we could still get a 1 seed if we finished 16-2 and won the SEC tournament. Would just need UT and UK to also lose a couple games for us to beat them out in the standings

so you're thinking we beat the #5 team on the road and the #1 team at home back to back? You are Nuckin Futs. I'm hoping to just get 1 but if we did beat both I will streak my neighborhood and give the old ladies a heart attack.

Exactly, I love this team and they are so fun to watch, albeit at times maddening. But honestly, they have yet to put a solid 40 minute game together. I would say our best game may have been at Ole Miss and we were pretty shakey in the first half.
Now they could always all of a sudden put it all together but for now I think a reasonable goal is a 4 or 5 seed.

Beat UT by double digits, handle UK on the road, basically Win out and go 8-0, then run through the SEC Tourney with ease. Would also need Zaga to get upset by one of their unranked conference mates as well as several other top ten teams dropping a few more games.
If we can win out, including beat UT at home and then again in SEC tourney, we got a number one seed.

You think if LSU wins out, wins the SEC tournament, that we would still need help from the outside to get a #1 seed?
They might need a little bit of help to get the #1 overall seed if they do all that, but that would be an absolute 1 seed lock.
Not surprising you have a take that is miles off the mark though. Hell, you just told us LSU's wins up to this point don't matter and they have no good wins.

A month later and it’s all still right there ahead of us. Just need to get the sure win against Vandy and hopefully an Auburn win over UT for the outright SEC championship. Then win the SECt and the selection committee would be crazy not to give us a 1 seed!
