The sanctions against the University of LSU (Thanks to Travonte for giving us that gem to use) won't be as bad as many think because Scott loves him some relative Mark (Emmert) and the penalties will not be that severe.

Payments of 400k to Zion from Duke came out in discovery when a sponsor sued him recently. Duke got caught and nothing happened just like North Carolina.

Regardless, paying this woman is not a violation in and of itself. It would require first proving that Wade paid players. Then showing Wade paid her to keep quiet about it.

Then yes, it's a violation.

Can you show whether the NCAA made any where near the level of their investigation of Duke basketball and in particular Zion Johnson that they exerted in their investigation of LSU and Will Wade?
