LSU basketball will face off against College of Charleston on Thanksgiving night. The winner will play the winner of UAB/Florida St. the next day.

Charleston was an NCAA tourney team in 2018 and had a 28-6 record. Not sure what they have returning for this season.

If LSU can remain in the winners bracket, they will likely face Villanova (defending national champs) on the final day of the tournament, which would end up leading to a good slate of games for the Tigers and a boost to RPI.

Geaux Tigers but it depresses me that we're close enough to winter to be talking about it.

At least on opposite side of bracket from Memphis - since they are already on schedule

FSU will be tough, but we should be able to take them, I would be shocked if it's anyone but Villanova from that side of the bracket playing in the final. It could be an incredible game us vs. them.

I’m heading to Orlando for the tournament. Pretty much the exact bracket I figured it would be. LSU-Villanova on Sunday night for the championship would be EPIC!

I want to play the best that tourney has to offer.

FSU and either Nova or Virginia would be nice. Virginia would give the team a test against a strong defensive oriented team and Nova would test them against an all around great team/program obviously.

Can't wait.

Virginia is not in the tournament, it's Villanova, OP made a mistake

And for those wondering, it will be an entirely different Villanova team than last year, their Top 4 players all went to the NBA

Yea, they’ll have a much different roster, but I want them on name alone. Oklahoma State wouldn’t be a bad opponent either.

Corrected. Not sure why on Earth I was thinking Virginia. Guess those "V" names screwed me up. Thanks for the catch.

I'll watch LSU basketball playing a meaningful game over a Saints game any day.

Does suck for fans of both. But at least the silver lining is that they don't start at same time. I just looked at Saints schedule and their game kicks off at 7:20 CST; whereas, LSU will tip at 6:00 CST. So LSU should be close to midway through 2nd half by the time Saints start.

I'll be at the Saints game, but the Dome has pretty solid WiFi for an arena. I'll definitely be streaming LSU beforehand.
