we need a left hand starter to face their left handed lineup.

Our righties can beat their lefties. We tend to give up too many 0-2 hits. This should not happen unless the hitter makes an incredible swing (sliders away, curves in the dirt, high heat).

Of course we all want LSU to win every game and every NC, but this team will very likely win 40+ regular season games. I would have considered that a longshot at the beginning of the season. Let's just sit back and enjoy the ride

Thats the problem,not enough lefty's on the roster.Pitching or hitting for that matter.

We used a very balanced lineup yesterday fwiw...


at one point, the batters went LRLRLR IIRC

What this guy said. Our pitchers throw a 4 seam right down the pipe on an 0-2 count. That shows lack of confidence in the strike zone. If they wanna throw an 0-2 fastball that's fine but dont leave it in the zone.
