When’s the last time that we have had a baseball player get in trouble? Failed drug test (PED or otherwise), legal trouble, or team rules violations? Knock on wood, I can’t really remember any. These boys are playing on no or partial scholarships and are staying inside the lines. Disappointing and confusing that our (and likely all universities) football players can’t stay within the confines of the law, and university rules. Just a question, feel free to correct me if I’m wrong about baseball players being such good citizens. Maybe I’m wrong, maybe I’ve forgotten, or maybe football just gets more of the media attention to draw awareness.

Look where the kids come from that we recruit to play football, compared to baseball. Pretty big difference.

Really not sure how I got a downvote lol, but I guess you’re right about the areas recruited. No trap at all, just a question and discussion to get me through until football kickoff. Or at least help buy some time.

I wasn’t the downvote. That would be my explanation for the difference in the players getting in trouble in football and not baseball. Just where some kids come from, the environment they grow up in, and who they’re hanging around at that age.

I saw your username and figured you registered in 2009, not last month.

No comment on the actual post

The basketball players really don’t get in much trouble either. The worst thing was the paintball incident last summer. Baseball and football guys get in much more trouble than hoops it seems

Wow. I’ve been on here for years, mostly during the recruiting periods, and have always thought nah that’s a bunch of dumbass kids I ain’t doing it. What do they say about staying with your first mind? Yea...bunch of dumbass kids. No offense to those of you who actually replied with intelligence. Someone said something about my username, I’ve been making Russell Shepard’s pie for every kickoff game of the year since LSU stomped Oregon’s arse back in Jerry’s World. Geaux Tigers!
