Drew Bianco made the All-Star team but is unable to attend so is not participating in the game. I am not sure why no one has the stats for that league, thats very odd for the TCL but then again, they are usually behind the curve

Willis and Doughty are fricking killing it. We need Willis to be big this year.

Willis is really doing well. Not listed above are 27 walks against only 17 Ks.

His stats are very encouraging but I wonder what is the quality of pitching in Northwoods compared to Cape Cod?

The Cape Cod is the top summer league, so the pitching there is definitely better.

But the Northwoods League is in the 2nd tier with a couple other leagues.

This is outdated because I haven't updated it in a while but he's faced mostly D1 guys, a small handful of D2, 3 D3, 1 JUCO, and 6 NAIA.

I've been focusing on what he's done against the D1 guys mostly, and it's in line with his overall stats. Meaning that he's not just feasting on subpar competition.

One of the guys he's faced, and I think was 1/1 against (I think he only faced him once), is a kid that is in the process of raising his draft stock considerably. Will Klein from Eastern Illinois has been touching 98 this summer and jumped on to scouting radars in a big way.

Willis, as of the time I put this together a few weeks ago also has a .500 avg against SEC pitchers he's faced this summer.

All of this is small sample size, but it's still reason to be encouraged.
